At Varbergs Kusthotell, we want you to have the most enjoyable experience possible. We also want your experience to be sustainable and to leave as light a footprint on our planet as possible. It will be easier for you to enjoy yourself, knowing that you have done your bit.
Every year, our hotel throws out 2.5 tonnes of plastic
slippers. These are slippers that our guests leave at the hotel, rather than
taking them home. It’s an unnecessary waste of resources that we must put a
stop to. With the help of our guests, we can introduce new, more sustainable
habits and experiences.
To be a part of this important and meaningful initiative,
we ask that you bring your own slippers when you visit us. Any slippers can be
used, as long as they are clean and can withstand the moisture of the spa. This
way we can reduce our carbon footprint and the amount of waste generated, as
well as save our natural resources. Should you forget to bring your own
slippers, you can buy a pair from us. Our slippers are 100% compostable and are
made from naturally fallen palm leaves.
Reducing plastic waste and enjoying sustainable experiences is rewarding and uplifting .Together we can make a difference.
