  • Your room is available until 11:00 AM on the day of departure, unless you have booked a late check-out.

Getting here
If you wish to travel to us by public transport, you can take an SJ or Öresundståg train to Varberg. From the train station, it is about 3 km to the hotel. A scenic walk along the beautiful beach promenade takes approximately 40 minutes.
From the bus terminal at Varberg train station, you can take Hallandstrafiken bus no. 11 to the stop Varberg Kurorten Apelviken, which takes about 10 minutes and stops right outside the hotel.

Parking
We offer free parking spaces directly adjacent to the hotel. Outside the hotel’s walls, there is a municipal parking area. A parking permit is required for this area, which you can collect from our reception. During peak season, we cannot guarantee the availability of municipal parking spaces.

EV Charging Stations
We provide 16 electric vehicle charging stations via ChargeNode. A fee for electricity applies.

FOR GUESTS WHO HAVE BOOKED SPA ACCESS

  • As a hotel guest with a spa package included in your stay, please shower and change into swimwear, a bathrobe, and slippers in your hotel room before visiting the spa area.
  • Day spa guests can collect their bathrobe from reception and change in the locker rooms.
  • Towels are available at reception or in the spa lounge.
  • Please leave your bathrobe and towel in your room or drop them in the laundry chute at the spa before you leave.
  • Avoid bringing valuables to the spa. Lockers are available in the changing rooms. Please refrain from wearing jewelry while bathing.
  • Remember to stay hydrated while enjoying the spa and sauna. Several water stations are available in the pool area.
  • We kindly ask you to use mobile phones sparingly in the spa, always on silent mode.
  • Please note that Varbergs Kusthotell no longer offers treatments or massages.

RESTAURANT

  • Breakfast is served daily from 07:00 to 10:00. Please check your booking confirmation for your designated seating time.
  • Lunch is served daily from 12:00 to 15:00.
  • Dinner is served from 16:30, and the kitchen closes at 22:00.

Some packages include dinner—please check your booking confirmation for your designated seating time.

Please note that regular attire is required in the restaurant and bar—bathrobes are not permitted.

Cash-Free Hotel
We are a cash-free hotel. Payments can be made via card or the Swedish digital payment service Swish.

Luggage Room
Available at the reception free of charge.

No Smoking
Smoking is prohibited indoors, on all outdoor terraces, and at entrances. In case of damages to hotel rooms, such as smoking, broken furniture, etc., we reserve the right to charge for cleaning and repair costs.

Dogs
We have a limited number of dog-friendly rooms. To book a pet-friendly room, please call our reservations team at +46340502700 to check availability and confirm your booking. An additional cleaning fee of 400 SEK per stay applies when bringing a dog.

Bicycle Storage
We offer secure indoor storage for bicycles in a locked space. Please note that there is a staircase to the storage area, and you will need to carry your bike down yourself. Your personal bicycle insurance applies.
