At the turn of the year, Ästad Vingård will take over operations from Comwell Hotels, which has managed the business since 1992, and under the leadership of CEO Terese Asplund since 2016. When it came time to renew the lease agreements, Comwell chose to wind down its hotel operations in Sweden and focus on the Danish market instead.
From January 1, 2025, Ästad Vingård, with Daniel Carlsson, CEO and co-owner of Ästad Vingård, as the new CEO, will take over operations. This will result in changes to the current offerings, and at the turn of the year, Kurortskliniken, the gym, fitness classes, personal training services, the shop, and spa treatments will be discontinued to make room for new offerings.The Thalasso spa will be replaced by a classic spa experience featuring saunas, warm pools, and cold baths.
How long can you book fitness and PT sessions?
All sessions are bookable up until December 21, 2024.
Can you still buy punch cards for treatments?
No, punch cards can no longer be purchased.
How long will the gym remain open?
The gym will close on December 21, 2024. Until then, you can train as usual.
How long can spa treatments be booked?
Spa treatments are available for booking until December 29, 2024. Treatments in the infrared sauna can be booked until November 30, 2024. However, treatment packages, such as three or five treatments during a stay, can no longer be booked.
How long can one book sauna activities?
Our members have until December 21, 2024, to book our sauna activities at the cold bathhouse. For our overnight guests, we will then open bookings during the days between Christmas and New Year's, from December 27 to 29, 2024.
Are gift cards and vouchers valid after the end of the year?
Yes, gift cards and vouchers are valid after the end of the year, but the offerings will change next year.
