There are some things you need to know before your stay with us. Below are some things you should keep in mind. This information can also be found in your package description and confirmation. We look forward to seeing you!

Special Opening Hours in December 2024  

• 22–26 December: Closed for Christmas. The spa will close at 13:00 on December 22. We will be open for treatments until 12:30.
  
• 27–30 December: Open.
  
• 30–31 December: Closed for change of operational management.
  
• 1 January: Reopening under Ästad Vingård's management.  

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIMES

• You have access to the room from 15:00. (if you arrive after 9 p.m. let us know in advance)
• Check-out by: 11:00
• Your package may include different times, see your confirmation for deviating times. 
• Upon arrival, you will be able to check in digitally via the Aeroguest app. An invitation comes via email and SMS.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BOOKING AND CANCELLATION

• Always tell us your reservation number when you contact us to add or change something to your existing reservation. 
• At check-in, the person on the reservation needs to show ID. If people in the same room arrive before the named person, they need to show the reservation number and ID.

HOW TO FIND US

Address

Travel directions
If you want to travel by public transport, use the SJ or Öresund rail networks to travel to Varberg. We are located around 3 km from the train station. A walk along the beautiful beach promenade takes around 40 minutes. You can also take bus 60 Varberg Kurorten Apelviken, which stops directly outside the hotel. The hotel is 95 km from Landvetter Airport. 

Parking
We offer parking facilities directly adjacent to the hotel. Our private parking is subject to a fee, with the option to pre-book a parking space for 120 SEK per day, limited availability. Outside the hotel premises, there is a public parking area. A parking permit is required there, and you can obtain it at our reception. During peak season, we cannot guarantee the availability of public parking spaces.

Charging stations electric car
We offer 16 charging stations for electric vehicles via ChargeNode. Parking with a charging station is subject to a fee, with the option to pre-book a parking space for 120 SEK per day. Additional charges for electricity apply.

THALASSOTHERAPY SPA

• Remember to bring your own slippers. Every year, our hotel throws out 2.5 tonnes of plastic slippers. We therefore ask you to bring along your own slippers when you visit us. Any slippers can be used, as long as they are clean and can withstand the moisture found inside the spa. If you don't have your own slippers, you can buy a pair from us for SEK 70.

GYM

Daily between 07:00-23:00. Accessible to all guests aged 16 years and over, except during school holidays, when young adults aged 12 years and over are welcome to exercise with a parent or guardian.

RESTAURANT AND BISTRO

• Breakfast is served every day 07:00-10:15 in different sittings (you are given your time slot at check-in). 
• Restaurant menu is served every day between 12.00-22.00. See our menu.

We are a cashless hotel
We accept card payment or Swish. 

Luggage storage room 
This is located by reception and is free of charge. 

No smoking
No smoking applies indoors and at all outdoor cafes and at entrances. In the event of destruction in hotel rooms such as smoking, broken furniture, etc., we have the right to invoice decontamination and repair costs.

Dogs
Dogs are warmly welcome. Please notify us well in advance of arrival as we only have a limited number of rooms for dog owners. These rooms are subject to an additional cleaning charge of SEK 400/stay. 

Availability
We offer two handicap-friendly hotel rooms. Our spa is handicap friendly with handrails in the stairs in the pool area and handrails down in the pools. There is access to a handicap-friendly toilet in the spa corridor and in the shower room there is a shower stool. From the shower floor down to the pool floor there is a lift. In the treatment department, you need to be able to get up and down on the treatment bench and up and down from the bathtub itself or with the help of a companion.
