NEW. Experience total relaxation with our automated roll massage at Varberg's Kusthotell. Inspired by Chinese healing practices, this 40-minute full-body treatment provides deep muscle massage with rotating wooden rollers and infrared light, enhancing blood circulation and relieving stiffness.  

We work with well-known luxurious spa products from Kerstin Florian in our spa treatments. The spa products contain natural ingredients of the highest quality.

During a sauna yoga session, our instructor guides you through yoga positions and breathing exercises. Sauna yoga is suitable for everyone and requires no prior experience with yoga.

The sauna yoga takes place in the sauna of our cold bathhouse, and the sessions are free to participate in for those who have spa access or are fitness members. Please check our training schedule for the days and times when sauna yoga is held.

The experience of sitting in an infrared sauna can be likened to sunbathing, meaning that the light raises your body temperature in a relaxing, gentle, and pleasant way. The infrared light is safe and has many health-promoting effects.  

NEW. Achieve instantly visible results with red light therapy – you can now rent an LED mask, a red light treatment for the face that improves skin texture and has a rejuvenating effect. After just ten minutes of use, the skin feels plumper, hydrated, and renewed.

You are welcome to rent the LED mask in our spa lounge when you visit the Thalasso Spa. 150 SEK for ten minutes of treatment.

In the cupping treatment, we use cups to massage the body in a warm, comfortable environment in the sauna at Kusthotellet's kallbadhus. By creating a vacuum on the skin, the cup provides an effective and deep connective tissue massage that promotes circulation of blood, lymph, and tissue fluids. You will perform the cupping on yourself with guidance from the sauna host. Cupping is included in your entry to the Thalasso-Spa.  

We borrow the water for our heated seawater pool directly from the Kattegatt and heat it to 32 C for you to enjoy. The seawater with its high salt content has antiseptic properties and contains important minerals that are healthy for our skin and body. 

Alternating temperatures in cold and warm pools and several experience showers contribute to the thalassotherapy experience. The sea is always close by.    

Enjoy the warmth in the steam sauna, the comfortable 50 C temperature in the sauna used between treatments, or the hot sauna, where the temperature is 80 C. Join a sauna ritual in our open air bath house, where our spa therapists supervise rituals that feature seaweed or salt. From the jetty outside the open air bath house, you can end your sauna session with a dip in the sea. The contrast in temperature between hot and cold produces an adrenaline rush and a feeling of being invincible.

Combine your spa visit with a beneficial spa treatment. Time Is Yours is a spa treatment that is completely customised to your needs, where you choose the focus area: body, face or feet. 

We use several different treatments for the Time for You treatment: deep massage using oil, body scrub with sea salt or a mud mask to name but a few. If you want to bring a friend or partner, you can enjoy a duo treatment.

Admission to our thalassotherapy spa includes free fitness classes and access to our indoor and outdoor gyms. 

Take part in a group fitness class with movement and rhythms, a sweaty spinning session for aerobic exercise or focus on breathing in a yoga session. In our gyms you can plan your workout to suit you. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful nature, perfect for pleasant walks or runs. 

When you want to retreat for a while, close your eyes and take a few deep breaths, we have the space for rest and recovery. 

Immerse yourself in one of the beds in the relaxation area and let the light from the large veranda windows restore your energy. In the spa lounge, you can sit down for a quiet moment. During the summer months, we open up the doors to our lovely spa garden with hammocks and sun decks. There you can find your place in the sun.
