For over a hundred years, people have filled the buildings that now make up Varbergs Kusthotell. First as a coastal sanatorium. Today as a spa hotel. While the waves have rolled endlessly in from the Kattegat, our seaside retreat has slowly taken shape.
INDEPENDENT HOTEL WITH A SISTER PROPERTY
Varbergs Kusthotell is an independent hotel, operated by a local team and management living in the surrounding area. Our goal is to develop Varbergs Kusthotell into Sweden’s premier spa destination. Since January 1st, 2025, we’ve welcomed a sister hotel — Ästad Vingård — located about 25 kilometers from us.
