BOOKING TERMS & GENERAL INFORMATION
PAYMENT & CANCELLATION
Varbergs Kusthotell is a cash-free facility. Private guests are welcome to pay with a card or via Swish. For corporate/conference bookings within Sweden, we also accept invoices, provided that the invoice address is communicated at least 7 days before arrival. For companies outside of Sweden, advance payment is required. All prices on our website, varbergskusthotell.se, are inclusive of VAT unless otherwise specified.
Varbergs Kusthotell’s gift cards can be used as payment for packages with overnight stays, day spa visits, activities, or meals at Restaurant Severins. Gift cards cannot be used as payment for another gift card.
As a private individual booking 3 or fewer rooms, you have the option to cancel, amend, or change your booking up to 7 days before the arrival date without cancellation protection. From 6 days before arrival, the full amount will be charged for cancellations or changes unless cancellation protection is purchased. If cancellation protection is purchased, you can cancel or modify your booking free of charge up until 15:00 the day before arrival. The cancellation protection must be purchased at the time of booking and will be charged to your card or invoiced after cancellation. Cancellation protection is non-refundable.
For bookings of 4 or more rooms, the rules for conference bookings apply, which can be found under GENERAL BOOKING TERMS FOR GROUP AND CONFERENCE BOOKINGS further down in the document.
The booker is solely responsible for any damage or sabotage caused by themselves or participants through negligence at Varbergs Kusthotell and will be liable for compensation. Varbergs Kusthotell reserves the right to refuse groups that disrupt peace and order.

Spa
Upon entering the spa, you will be provided with a towel, bathrobe, and slippers. The spa areas are fully licensed for food and beverage service. Food and drinks must be ordered on-site. Outside food and drinks are not allowed.
You can cancel your day spa visit with 24 hours’ notice. If cancellation is made too late or if the guest does not show up, we reserve the right to charge the full amount to the booker’s name and contact details.

Restaurant
Please let us know if anyone in your group has specific dietary requests.
Other Information
We welcome information about any allergies before your arrival.
We greatly appreciate any help in our development efforts. Therefore, we have a guest survey that we would be happy to send to you via email after your checkout, with your consent.

GENERAL BOOKING TERMS FOR GROUP & CONFERENCE BOOKINGS
Payment
For those who have booked 4 or more rooms, the general booking terms for group and conference bookings apply. As the organizer, you are responsible for the costs associated with the booking and the arrangements. If participants miss a pre-ordered meal, accommodation, or activity, this does not entitle you to a price reduction.
For bookings valued at over 200,000 SEK, Varbergs Kusthotell reserves the right to require a 50% advance payment of the booking value. Payment is made after the stay via invoice, unless otherwise agreed.
A handling fee of 100 SEK per invoice will be added for split invoices. Payment terms are 30 days unless otherwise stated or if special payment terms have been agreed.
Cancellations and Modifications
All cancellations or modifications must be made in writing.
For groups of 1-49 people:
Cancellation 1 month before arrival: no fee
Cancellation 2-4 weeks before arrival: 75% of the total cost will be invoiced
Cancellation 14 days before arrival: 100% of the total cost will be invoiced
For groups of more than 50 people:
Cancellation 2 months before arrival: no fee
Cancellation 2-8 weeks before arrival: 75% of the total cost will be invoiced
Cancellation 14 days before arrival: 100% of the total cost will be invoiced
Reduction of Participant Numbers
If the number of participants is reduced later than 14 days before arrival, 10% of the participants can be reduced without charge.
If the number of participants is reduced later than 7 days before arrival, 100% of the booking value will be charged for each cancelled participant.
Cancellation of Activities and Meeting Rooms
For cancellations of activities or meeting rooms later than 14 days before arrival, 100% of the cost will be charged.
