Varbergs Kusthotell has assessed that the need for CCTV monitoring outweighs the potential intrusion on personal privacy that the monitoring may entail for our customers and staff.

Monitoring takes place only in designated areas.

We have ensured that only a limited number of authorised employees have access to the recorded material, and that such material will only be used for the purposes stated above.

Recorded material is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, but no longer than 30 days, after which it is automatically deleted.

We may retain material for longer than 30 days if necessary to comply with a legal obligation.

Your privacy is of the utmost importance to us.

We have ensured that only a limited number of employees have access to the recorded material.

Your personal data may also be processed by data processors, such as companies we engage for surveillance, security, camera systems, incident reporting, and customer support.

These parties are prohibited from using your personal data for any purpose other than providing the services for which they were contracted and only under the terms specified by us.

Recorded material is stored in Sweden. Data may also be processed by law enforcement authorities, for example in connection with police reports or legal proceedings.
