- Check-in time is provided in your booking confirmation sent to your email address.
- You have your room until 11:00 on the day of departure, unless you’ve booked a late check-out.
- Seating times for meals at Severins can be found in your booking confirmation.
BOOKING TERMS

- Always provide your reservation number when contacting us to add or change anything in your existing booking.
- At check-in, the person listed on the booking must show identification. If others in the same room arrive before the named person, they must present the reservation number and ID.

Getting Here
If you’re traveling by public transport, take an SJ or Öresundståg train to Varberg. The hotel is about 3 km from the train station. A scenic walk along the coastal promenade takes around 40 minutes. From the bus terminal at Varberg station, you can take Hallandstrafiken bus no. 11 to the stop Varberg Kurorten Apelviken—the journey takes about 10 minutes, and the bus stops right outside the hotel.
Note: From June 9–July 13, train services through Varberg will be suspended due to construction of the Varberg Tunnel. Buses will replace trains during these periods.
Parking
We offer free parking directly adjacent to the hotel. Outside the hotel’s walls, there is a municipal parking area. A parking permit is required, which you can pick up at the reception. During high season, we cannot guarantee availability of municipal parking spaces.
EV Charging Stations
Due to construction work in the parking area, the hotel’s electric vehicle charging stations are temporarily out of service. They will be available again in July 2025.
FOR THOSE WHO HAVE BOOKED SPA
- As a hotel guest with a spa package, we kindly ask that you shower and change into your swimwear, bathrobe, and slippers in your hotel room before visiting the spa area.
- Day spa guests can pick up a bathrobe at the reception and change in the changing rooms.
- Towels are provided at the reception or in the spa lounge.
- Leave your bathrobe and towel in your room or drop them off in the laundry chute at the spa when you leave.
- Please avoid bringing valuables to the spa. Lockable lockers are available in the changing rooms. Please refrain from wearing jewelry when swimming.
- Remember to hydrate and maintain your fluid balance while bathing and using the sauna. Water stations are available in the pool area.
- Until June 2025, children aged 0-11 are welcome in the spa between 08:00-10:00.
- We kindly ask you to use your mobile phones sparingly in the spa, always on silent mode.
- Varbergs Kusthotell does not offer treatments or massages.
RESTAURANT & BAR
- Breakfast is served daily from 07:00 to 11:00. Please refer to your booking confirmation for your assigned seating time.
- Severins serves lunch from 12:00 to 15:00 every day of the week.
- Dinner is served from 16:30. The kitchen closes at 22:00. Some packages include dinner. Please check your booking confirmation for your assigned seating time.

Please note that casual attire is required in the restaurant and bar—bathrobes are not allowed.

Payment is accepted by card or the Swedish mobile payment service Swish.
Luggage Room
Available at the reception and free of charge.
No Smoking
Smoking is prohibited indoors, on all outdoor terraces, and at entrances. In the case of damage to hotel rooms, such as smoking or broken furniture, we reserve the right to invoice cleaning and repair costs.
Dogs
We have a limited number of rooms that welcome dogs. Book a dog-friendly room by calling our reservations at +46 340 502 700 to check availability and confirm your booking. An additional cleaning fee of 400 SEK per stay applies if bringing a dog.
Bicycle Storage
We offer indoor storage for bicycles in a locked space. The storage area is accessible by a staircase, and you will need to carry your bike down. Personal bicycle insurance is required.
ACCESSIBILITY
We offer two accessible hotel rooms. Our spa is wheelchair accessible, with handrails in the stairways of the pool area and handrails in the pools. There is access to an accessible toilet in the spa corridor, and shower stools are available in the shower rooms. An elevator is available from the shower level to the pool floor.
