Let us take care of you—in beautiful surroundings, we offer body spa treatments where time is yours. In the treatment concept 'Time Is Yours,' a ten-minute consultation with the spa therapist is included before you choose your treatment. Your spa therapist will then guide you through the treatment options that suit you and your body. You will receive suggestions for one or several treatment combinations performed during your 60 or 80 minutes.

We work with Kerstin Florian's spa concept—our treatment products contain natural ingredients, some sourced from the sea, such as algae, mineral water, clay, herbal extracts, organic oils, antioxidants, essential vitamins, and minerals.

You Get a Complete Experience

When you book a spa treatment at Varbergs Kusthotell, you receive more than just a beneficial spa treatment. You also gain access to our heated seawater pool, foot bath, experience shower, relaxation area, and sauna one hour before and after your treatment. Changing rooms, showers, a cozy bathrobe, and towels are, of course, provided by us.

Operator Change

Our spa treatments are bookable until December 29, 2024, after which they will be discontinued due to the operator change. Treatment packages and punch cards are no longer available for purchase.

Operator Change – Information, Questions, and Answers

• Classic Massage. A classic Swedish deep tissue massage, where you choose a massage oil and focus area, such as the back, shoulders, neck, or full body.

• Mindfulness Massage. Our mindfulness massage is a relaxing and deep tissue massage featuring therapeutic techniques.

• Hawaiian Massage. Enjoy the flow of an energizing Hawaiian massage, which combines deep and gentle techniques where the spa therapist uses long, flowing strokes inspired by the sea and the movement of waves.

• Bamboo Massage. Bamboo massage is a therapeutic and holistic experience. Here, we use bamboo sticks to provide a soothing deep tissue massage to the muscles.

• Stone Massage. In stone massage, therapists use warm lava stones and cold marble stones. The alternating temperatures provide a powerful and deep tissue massage, stimulating circulation in the muscles.

• Scalp and Facial Massage. A soothing massage for the scalp, neck, and face with acupressure techniques to relieve tension in the head and face.

• Body Scrub. Effectively combats dry skin and helps stimulate circulation in a tired body. The Turkish Body Scrub with Eucalyptus is a scrub made with sea salt and minerals that exfoliates, refreshes, and mineralizes the skin. Afterward, the skin feels soft, smooth, and revitalized.

• Body Wrap. A body wrap that nourishes the body and stimulates circulation. Choose between Moor Mud clay wrap, Spirulina wrap, and Aroma wrap. During the wrap, you can opt for a facial treatment or a scalp massage. To provide additional nourishment after the wrap, you will receive an application of Satin Body Lotion or Chamomile Body Lotion.

• Mineral Bath. Enjoy a warm mineral bath that nourishes the muscles and provides an opportunity for recovery. We add Mineral Wellness Soak, a concentrated and powerful salt from South Africa, to the bath. It contains a balance of 60 essential minerals and trace elements to nourish, cleanse, and rebalance the body.

• Horizontal Shower. You lie down on a bed where water jets from above flow down on you in various scenarios, with drumming rain interrupted by gentle water streams in a harmonious combination of temperature changes. The result is total relaxation in a way that is only possible when lying down.

If you feel tired in body and mind, we recommend our unique, wonderful seaweed massage. You step into a wooden bathtub filled with heated seawater. The spa therapist then massages your body with handpicked seaweed from the coast of Varberg. It’s a touching treatment where the minerals and trace elements in the seawater and seaweed soften your muscles and joints.  

From January 1, 2025, Ästad Vingård will take over the operations from the current owners, Comwell Hotels. This will result in changes to the current offerings, and at the turn of the year, the gym, fitness classes, and spa treatments will be discontinued to make room for a new selection.
