You get a complete experience
When you book a treatment at Varbergs Kusthotell, you receive more than just a beneficial spa treatment. You also get access to our heated seawater pool, footbath, experience shower, relaxation area, and sauna one hour before and after your treatment. You can, of course, borrow changing rooms, showers, cozy bathrobes, and towels from us. Good to know before your spa treatment at Kusthotellet.
Booking
Book your treatments in advance, as they are very popular. We have a minimum age requirement of 16 for the treatments. Any cancellation must be made by 6 PM the day before arrival. Read our booking terms.

Operator change
Our spa treatments are available for booking until December 29, 2024, and will then cease due to an operator change. Treatment packages and punch cards are no longer available for purchase.
Massage and seaweed massage at Varbergs Kusthotell
Massage
The massage therapist focuses on the desired area – neck and shoulders, back, or legs.

Seaweed Massage
If you feel physically and mentally tired, we recommend our unique seaweed massage. You step into a wooden bath filled with heated seawater. The spa therapist massages your body with hand-picked seaweed from the Varberg coast. A soothing treatment where the minerals and trace elements in the seawater and seaweed relax muscles and joints.

Foot and Leg Massage
A relaxing time for tired feet and legs performed by a foot care therapist. The treatment begins with a foot bath to soften the feet, followed by a soothing massage of the feet and legs.

Body treatments
Body Scrub
In 20 minutes, enjoy a refreshing body scrub using Kerstin Florian's Turkish Body Scrub with sea salt and eucalyptus, followed by a soothing shower. If you choose the 40-minute treatment, you’ll experience a relaxing body scrub with Kerstin Florian's Chamomile Body Scrub, featuring pumice, aloe vera, and jojoba. After a shower, a softening Chamomile Body Lotion is applied.

Infrared Sauna
The infrared sauna offers numerous health benefits – from deep detoxifying sweat to pain relief, reduced fatigue, and improved sleep. The sauna uses heat waves to directly warm your body, requiring less heat to achieve more intense sweating. Learn more about the benefits of infrared sauna.

Horizontal Shower
Lie on a bed while water streams from above in various scenarios. Rhythmic rain alternates with gentle streams of water in a harmonious combination with beneficial temperature changes. Tensions in the head, neck, and shoulders are washed away in time with the flowing water.

Waxing
Choose between waxing legs, bikini line, or back. After waxing, avoid swimming or massage to prevent the risk of infection.

Facial Treatments at Varbergs Kusthotell
Facial Care
Our spa therapist will take care of you and give your face a refreshing treatment. You'll receive a facial cleansing, face mask, and while the mask works, you'll enjoy a relaxing scalp massage. The treatment concludes with a soothing facial massage using a day cream.

LED Mask
Get instantly visible results with red light therapy – we offer an LED mask, a red light treatment for the face that improves skin texture and has a rejuvenating effect. After just ten minutes of use, the skin feels fuller, hydrated, and renewed, with a radiant glow!
You are welcome to rent an LED mask in our spa lounge from the spa host when visiting Thalasso Spa.

Choose to wax the chin and upper lip. After waxing, it is recommended not to bathe or undergo massage due to the risk of infection.

Facial Treatments with Chemical Peeling
Priori Skin Re-Boot Spa – Chemical Peel
A balancing and normalizing chemical peel that delivers visible results. This glow treatment includes a deep peel, a 10-minute LED light therapy treatment for an extra radiant and revitalizing effect, a hydrating mask, and day cream. While the active ingredients work, our spa therapist provides a relaxing hand massage.
LED light therapy improves skin hydration and structure. After 10 minutes of treatment, the skin feels plumper, more hydrated, renewed, and gains a radiant glow. The treatment boosts blood flow and oxygen absorption in the skin.
Note: This treatment should not be combined with bathing and sauna within the next 24 hours.

Priori Peel It – Chemical Peel and LED Mask
An effective and normalizing chemical peel designed to balance your skin and provide visible results. This glow treatment includes cleansing, a deep peel, a 10-minute LED light therapy session for an extra radiant and revitalizing effect, followed by serum and day cream. It can be done as a standalone treatment for an instant glow or as a series of six treatments for optimal results and skin health.

Operator change
From January 1, 2025, Ästad Vingård will take over operations from the current owners, Comwell Hotels. This will bring changes to the current offerings, and at the turn of the year, the gym, fitness classes, and spa treatments will be phased out to make room for a new range of services.
